Yes, the update of clamav to 0.92 would not have affected the problems you are having. I experimented with clamtk fairly extensively while investigating this and related bugs to make sure that clamav wasn't causing a problem. According to the clamtk web site - http://clamtk.sourceforge.net/ - there are a number of problems stil with clamtk operating with the current clamav releases.
