I have had the same problems for some time now on lucid, maverick and natty beta 1 & 2.
Connect Evolution to my Google account using IMAP. Create Calendar to Google Calendar using the same account. Select Calendar view. Watch with 'System Monitor' you can see the memory usage of e-calendar-factory climb until all available memory is used.
