I can reproduce this every time with kvm_16-1ubuntu2 on an HP Compaq dc7700p desktop system with Intel VT enabled in the BIOS (v2.09) running Feisty x86_64 (kernel 2.6.20-15). This happens with out without -no-acpi or -no-rtc.
My system log has hundreds of lines like the following: [ 3271.013496] rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz. with the occasional: [ 3229.167184] kvm: msrs: 6 A gdb backtrace is attached (but it's probably useless, since kvm is compiled without debugging symbols). ** Attachment added: "kvm backtrace" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7343659/kvm_gdb.log -- kvm crashes on load (exception 12) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107172 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
