Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kde-guidance
The crash occurred on startup of kde. I see crashes of kde-guidance applets since I configured dual monitor display. This is kubuntu 7.04 on a ASUS A8N-SLI-Premium Bios Rev 1009 with an ASUS EN7600GT grasphic card running on the proprietary nvidia driver. I used to see the kde-crash-reporter over a sig 11 crash of the guidance-power-manager.py on every startup and had therefore removed that package. Bug #105125 seems to be related to this one. Running displayconfig-restore as a command line from the kde-menu I get a short Trac eback: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/displayconfig-restore", line 20, in <module> import ixf86misc ImportError: No module named ixf86misc Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help finding the problem, best regards ProblemType: Crash Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Apr 18 07:07:00 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/share/python-support/kde-guidance/displayconfig-restore.py InterpreterPath: /usr/bin/python2.5 Package: kde-guidance 0.8.0-0ubuntu5 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/displayconfig-restore ProcCwd: /home/dp ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 PythonArgs: ['/usr/bin/displayconfig-restore'] SourcePackage: kde-guidance Traceback: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/displayconfig-restore", line 20, in <module> import ixf86misc ImportError: No module named ixf86misc Uname: Linux aar 2.6.20-15-generic #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:36:31 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: kde-guidance (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- [apport] displayconfig-restore.py crashed with ImportError in <module>() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107412 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for kde-guidance in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
