I have tested Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty" Beta-1 with kernel 2.6.38-7-generic, and running toshset on the stock kernel still gives the same error "required kernel toshiba support not enabled".
Time permitting, I will also test the latest upstream kernel, and post results here. I tried applying the patch from post #24 in this thread to kernel 2.6.38-7-generic, but it failed. In post #28 keks-n reported that he patched the kernel from natty and got it working. Not sure how - did the patch require modifying for kernel 2.6.38?
