indeed.
I seem to have fixed it (partially) by doing:
sudo apt-get remove gnome-accessibility-themes
and then
sudo apt-get install gnome-themes-standard
Then install gnome-tweak-tool and set the theme to Adwaita and reboot.

I do feel things look a bit crummy, but maybe that is because of
removing some ubuntu themes as well.

If anyone knows how to fix this like it should, please let us know :)
