I post bug report to VXL track: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/vxl/ticket/62 But VXL support closed it as invalid with resoluion: "This is not a problem for the VXL maintainers. It is a problem for whoever maintains the Ubuntu libvxl1-dev package, which we have no control over."
