I think this had something to do with /dev/sr0 at one point. I've been
trying to install Ub 10.10 and Kub 10.10 and Ub 8.04 to a USB key (and a
hard drive) and the first 4 times I tried, it always threw up whenever
it tried to read the /dev/sr0 block device, and the install never
continued.

The last two times I ran it off the same Ub 10.10 LiveCD and instead it
decides to throw THIS error. I've had more errors in 10.10 than I had
running 8.04 the entire time.

Also, I managed to get this same crash to happen while I was running
GParted. Luckily it had just finished the operation I was performing on
my Windows partition (yeah i know, curse me for using Windows).
