im using the open source xorg intel driver provided in ubuntu repositories, the default one. Using a intel hd graphics with a pentium u5400 (a gma 4500MHD i think). My laptop is a toshiba t230-136, it functions properly with ubuntu maverick, no problems at all, compiz enabled. And yes it shows there's 2 screens, but i only have one and i've never connected my laptop to an external monitor.
