I have some additional info to my earlier post. I've tried it with the router broadcasting the SSID (same as above but no hidden router ID). Result: knetworkmanager detects the router and displays an entry under "Wireless Networks"; clicking it brings up the log in menu and asks for WPA Personal key - other key type option are disabled (greyed out). After key entry progress unfortunately just hangs again at 28% until some timeout occurs (I estimate after about two to five minutes). Something goes wrong while a connection is trying to be established.
