i added the unity-2d daily build repo and updated. here a screenshot. the window in the back is fullscreen, the terminal in the front moved as far to the left until snapped in at the (hidden) screen edge. also, the ugly gnome windows-bug has already been filed seperately and i'm running this ubuntu on a VMware Fusion virtual machine.
