Public bug reported: I start jack via qjackctl taking all defaults. It throws xruns constantly, at about the rate of 10 per second. I tried disabling my wifi, which caused IRQ conflicts with firewire on my 8.04 system, but it didn't help. I tried installing jackd1, since my hardware is single- core, but that also exhibits the same problem.
