Duncan: Yeah, the problem is that people search for scribus & see a
"supported" and an "unsupported" version, and this last one is also
called a "development" version in its description (which sounds like it
might not be very stable), so they install the supported version, which
then doesn't have all the features listed on the Scribus website.  Or
they complain on the scribus list about things that don't work, while
they have been fixed for years.

Oleksandr: If you ever have to wait because of a pre-release freeze in
Debian again, I'm sure one of the Ubuntu developers will be happy to
upload a package for a newer release.  I think it's in everyone's
interest to have a recent release of Scribus in most distros--especially
in Ubuntu and other end-user distros.  That will keep the _needless_
"bug reports" on the scribus list lower.  :-)
