$   dpkg -L network-manager-gnome|grep glade
/usr/share/nm-applet/applet.glade
/usr/share/gnome-vpn-properties/nm-vpn-properties.glade

$ uname -a
Linux JanekPC 2.6.20-15-generic #2 SMP Sat Apr 14 00:54:01 UTC 2007 i686
GNU/Linux

I have a P4 3.2 Ghz with Hyper Threading and I enabled that with ht=on
in boot menu (if this is important for you.... I don't think so)

And what I saw:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /usr/share/nm-applet/applet.glade
bash: /usr/share/nm-applet/applet.glade: Permission denied
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /usr/share/gnome-vpn-properties/nm-vpn-properties.glade
bash: /usr/share/gnome-vpn-properties/nm-vpn-properties.glade: Permission denied

Maybe this is the reason for the error message? That I haven't the
permission to access the file? But I never changed manually the
permissions of this nm-files....
