I have this problem too. When I play a video using democracyplayer, usually I can't hear any audio, but the video looks OK. But if I play the downloaded file with Totem, the movie plays just fine. I did my testing after moving the .democracy folder out of the way, as requested by Chris Halse Rogers. I have captured the stderr output of this process, which gives us a clue: it doesn't know how to handle the audio stream of type "audio/mpeg". Hope this is useful.
My version of democracyplayer is exactly the same as Chris's, and I'm also using Ubuntu Feisty on AMD64. ** Attachment added: "Captured stderr of the democracyplayer process" http://librarian.launchpad.net/7337119/stderr -- DemocracyPlayer has no audio... https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
