My t42 with natty a3 is almost stable now, the x41 with unr 10.10 works well since months. The new desktop concept works pretty nice and is easy to handle, we should not stop this now. But i agree that we need configuration items at launch, just remember the unstoppable drum sound at login. The workspace configuration can be placed somewhere outside ccsm.
