This is fixed in Natty. To address your concerns point-by-point: - It no longer uses radio buttons to select which disk to use. This is handled on the second partitioning page (if you select the resize or entire disk options) using a combobox. The combobox is still shown when it contains only one item, but I'd prefer we fix that in GTK+.
- The "guided" part of the string has not been presented in the UI for some time, but we've also refined the set of options and their respective text significantly.
