Steps I used to reproduce with feisty RC alternate i386 20070415: * Install in OEM mode in the usual way, specifying English, UK keyboard, timezone location London, etc. (I don't think it's relevant that it's an OEM install.) Run the usual OEM setup again answering all of the questions appropriatey for my actual location in Cambridge. * Ctrl-drag oo-about-these-files.odt from Examples to the desktop. * Double-click on the file. oo.o 2.2 starts. * Left-click just before the word `Linux' in the first line of the document and insert the separate word `colorful'; add `labor' after `core operating system' in the 2nd line. * Left click in the title to set the start point back to the beginning. * Select Tools / Spell check. Notice that `colorful' is flagged: we get a dialogue about the misspelling of `colorful'. * Change `Dictionary language:' to `English (USA)'. * Click `Ignore Once'. * Observe that the language has reverted to `English (UK)' and `labor' has been flagged as erroneous. Ian. FYI: UK English colour labour US English color labor ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: Needs Info => Confirmed -- spellchecker language keeps reverting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/47698 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
