I can see the splash screen. If locks-up after that while loading the desktop. No old menu or anything. I did try an alternative Install to see if I could get fix the graphics via safe graphics mode. It failed on that too and I wasn't able to get into command mode either. From Alpha 2 Sandy bridge supposed to be supported. I thried Alpha 2 and 3 and yesterday's daily build as well. I tried kubuntu Alpha 3 as well to see if it was a Unity problem. All versions have the same problem.
