This issue exists in ubiquity in Natty (dev. branch)

I tested natty-desktop-amd64+mac.iso CD (from 2011-03-23).

I entered a username with an underscore, which was not flagged as
problematic until I tried to advance to the next screen. The error
dialog reappears as soon as it's dismissed, leaving no way to change the
username and no way to finish the installation, except to kill ubiquity
and restart the install.

This problem did not occur just the week before (I cannot recall the
ubiquity version) on the same machine when I also installed Natty (dev.
branch) and used the same username, containing an underscore.
