I encountered the same bug using amarok : Version 2.4.0 Using KDE 4.6.1 (4.6.1).
I think it's the problem of parsing the CUE sheet file. When the cue file has content like following, it will not play the next track. amarok can read the cue file and be able to play the first track. However, when I chose the rest tracks other than first one, amarok will simply play the first track.
