Public bug reported:

.xsession-errors complains it cannot find /home/user.Xmodmap
Obviously, it should look in /home/user/.Xmodmap

I tried putting a .Xmodmap, .xmodmaprc and .Xmodmaprc in my /home/user/
dir but it only gets loaded by using /home/user.Xmodmap

.xsession-errors without /home/user.Xmodmap:
Xsession: X session started for pierre at dimanche 15 avril 2007, 10:31:45
(UTC+0200)
Setting IM through im-switch for locale=fr_FR.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to
/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
startkde: Starting up...
kbuildsycoca running...
/usr/bin/xmodmap: unable to open file '/home/pierre.Xmodmap' for reading
/usr/bin/xmodmap: 1 error encountered, aborting.
.....

.xsession-errors with /home/user.Xmodmap:
