I have exactly the same problem as godDLL - when I connect my 5G 60GB iPod two devices are appear in the sidebar of Thunar (one called "Apple iPod Music Player" - unmounted and unmountable, and "IPOD" which is mounted and works fine.)
"fdisk - l" gives this output: Disk /dev/sdc: 60.0 GB, 60011642880 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 7296 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sdc1 1 14 112423+ 0 Empty /dev/sdc2 15 7296 58492665 b W95 FAT32 The problem exists, as far as I can tell, only in Feisty Xubuntu/Thunar (Gnome/Nautilus in Feisty correctly mounts a single device). I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I have installed XFCE 4.4.1 manually (using the installer from the XFCE webpage) on my Edgy system and the problem *does not* appear on there - it seems to be specific to Feisty. I confirm, also, that it is impossible to eject iPod completely using xfce desktop - it is possible only to unmount it, which means that when I dosconect my iPod I have to do it in spite of the "Do not disconnect" warning flashing on the iPod screen. -- double mount on /media/usbdisk https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/20652 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
