Public bug reported: This could be a duplicate but I wasn't shown possible dups. Using gnome-display-properties on lit external monitor (LG 1280x1024) to set my unlit main monitor (1920x1080 on eDP connection) to new resolution of 1920x1080 (was 1280x1024). Clicked apply and got the error. Looks as though the fglrx package is incompatible with this kernel.
