Please could you try running the following commands in a terminal to see if this resolves the issue: sudo dpkg-reconfigure openssh-client sudo apt-get -f install Please update this bug report if this does resolve the problem. ** Changed in: openssh (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/734645 Title: package openssh-client 1:5.3p1-3ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: Status in “openssh” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Upgrade from Ubuntu 9.04 to 10.04 via net ProblemType: Package DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: openssh-client 1:5.3p1-3ubuntu5 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-22.73-generic Uname: Linux 2.6.31-22-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Mar 14 15:22:39 2011 ErrorMessage: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 139 RelatedPackageVersions: ssh-askpass N/A libpam-ssh N/A keychain N/A ssh-askpass-gnome 1:5.3p1-3ubuntu5 SSHClientVersion: OpenSSH_5.3p1 Debian-3ubuntu5, OpenSSL 0.9.8k 25 Mar 2009 SourcePackage: openssh Title: package openssh-client 1:5.3p1-3ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: To unsubscribe from this bug, go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/734645/+subscribe -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/734645 Title: package openssh-client 1:5.3p1-3ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
