billbear: GRUB recognises two signatures: d8 41 a0 f5 02 00 02 00 and d4
41 a0 f5 03 00 03 00.  More may be added in the future if I hear of
more.

Your opinion is noted, but I disagree.  GRUB Legacy needs to die.  In
any case, this problem can affect GRUB Legacy too, just a bit more
rarely - it depends what sector the software in question happens to
choose.

This bug is fairly simple - I'll have it fixed soon.
