What is the state of the "Enable wireless" checkbox menu entry in the
right-click menu for the NetworkManager applet?

>From what I can tell right now, it seems like this may be an issue with
killswitch behaviour for that specific wifi card, but with the state of
Enable wireless (make sure it's on), and the text listed for the wifi
device (it may read something like "device not ready" or "missing
firmware"), we should be able to confirm whether NetworkManager has
anything to do with it.

As an additional check, could you please attach a copy of the file in
/var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state to this bug report? Thanks
in advance.
