Public bug reported:

I've got an ASRock ION3D system
http://www.asrock.com/nettop/overview.asp?Model=ION%203D%20Series on
which I can't get any sound working over the HDMI card. The display is
working mostly fine.

I've upgraded to track natty to try to address this, after installing
from a mythbuntu 10.10 disk, but still have the same issue. I'm running
kernel 2.6.38-6-generic, and using the nVidia proprietary drivers. I'm
testing using aplay, and have tried all the devices that 'aplay -L'
lists.

I'm attaching the output from running the alsa-info.sh script I
downloaded from http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh, verrsion
0.4.60.

By the way, sorry for reporting this as a display problem, due to
bug#733112 I couldn't use the sound option in apport to report the bug.
