That's actually a very good question, I've since restarted and had a few new sessions, I'll check when I get back home today. I didn't have any nautilus windows open, but I don't know if it was running in the background.
I had attempted to start 4 instances by clicking on the item in the Unity panel, they ended up displaying 2 hours later but grayed out (like it's stuck, or however Gnome determines to gray them out), so I forced them closed.
