For me this fix is a bigger problem than the previous problem. I have a Raid 5
mounted in /media/other , with 4 partitions - /dev/hda12 (IDE), /dev/sda1,
/dev/sdb1 and /dev/sdc11. Before this patch it would fail because md0 would
appear after /dev/sd* but before /dev/hd*; the "sleep 10" workaround fixed
that.
With this patch, I get a endless loop of "No available memory (MPOL_BIND): kill
process 2445 (mdadm) score 0 or a child" which I can only get around if I boot
from CD.
I am running feisty on a AMD64.
