Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center
nm-applet if let a long time on, consumes too much memory, from my point of view. I'm using Maverick completely updated to 6 march 2011. Also, sometimes happens that nm-applet shows a wifi network and doesn't connect to it after clicking on network name. I think both problems are correlated. The cause can be non proper management of weak signal wifi networks.
