Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fglrx
When booting the Ubuntu splash screen displays then the display goes blank and there is no gdm, you cannot switch to a different VT display. The system is up and I can ssh into it and see that there is some sort of crash in the fglrx module in the syslog.
