So a security update for the kernel has arrived on Maverick which is linux-image-generic-2.6.35-27.48
I have the 2.6.35-27 kernel posted in #270 . Correct me if wrong, but I do not think those changes have been integrated in the update. Since it is a security fix, not a standard bug fix update, and the USN mentions several security fixes , I am really unsure of what to do.
