Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
Right click over a launcher icon in the unity launcher. A pop-up menu appears. Now you can see the available items in the menu, you don't want to select either/any of them. So you want to make the menu go away. Just you try it. :-) By right-clicking on another launcher icon you can switch instead to *its* menu, but again, you can't close it without selecting an item from it. Only workaround I've found is to find an innocuous menu item and click on that; usually the "Open" on the application places icon. Expected behaviour: Pop-up menu should disappear if I click on anything *other* than the menu. Pop-up menu should disappear if I press Escape.
