I have an Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Mini-PCI Express in my laptop, and when I comment off the line that disables N wifi, and connect to 5GHz N, it works just fine, at 270 Mb/s. I stressed it hard for 15 minutes or longer, just to be sure. If it stops working after a number of hours, I'll post another comment.
As mentioned in comment #27, I think that Linux Kernel commit 1c3a1973b2d7c46c886d243367dcc5988a4ef704 may have been what fixed the problem. I did not have an 802.11n capable router until fairly recently, so I don't know if it used to work or if it had the bug before the disable-n thing was put in there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/630748 Title: iwlagn degrades quickly during normal wifi session -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
