Ubuntu is in feature freeze for Natty, but we could go through the Freeze 
Exception process [1].
Steffen, do you think that it is unlikely to cause more problems than it solves?

Apart from that, it is available through my PPA.

I have tried to backport it also for Hardy, but it now really needs a
more recent debhelper probably?!
