I am using an up-to-date Feisty (12/4/2007) on a Fujitsu-Siemens-S7110. Suspend
to ram *is* available but on resume the screen stays (almost) black. Actually,
the brightness is just very low; Increasing the brightness by using the key
combination Fn+F7 does not work. However, first _de_creasing the brightness by
pressing Fn+F6 brings the display back to normal life.
Following the patch supplied by Kaleo above, I added the line
 SAVE_VIDEO_PCI_STATE=true
to the /usr/share/acpi-support/FUJITSU SIEMENS.config file. Now, the display
works fine after resume.
