better. No quality difference was noticed in Ubuntu 10.10 when viewing
in LibreOffice Writer or Evince at the Terminal:

cd ~/Desktop && wget

&& lowriter -nologo bugdemo.odt

click File -> Export as PDF -> Lossless compression radio button ->
Export button -> Export button

evince bugdemo.pdf
