Sorry to say, but the 2.6.38-rc6 didn't do the trick for me. Just using it with the 10.10 ubuntu resolved in a commandline logon screen. Then I tried the natty from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/v2.6.38-rc6-natty/ in a live session using a usb stick, but after boot up there was still no available wireless networks presented. If you're interested in some logs, please let me know.
