apport information

** Description changed:

When running off a USB stick, ubuntu loads very quickly. But once I
installed it on my netbook, it seems to take 5 to 10 mins to boot. Any
reasons why this is happening? The problem seems to have appeared right
after I downloaded the 200+ updates a few days ago.

  dmesg indicates the problem as:
[ 13.890941] EXT4-fs (sda1): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode
  [ 313.149134] udev: starting version 151

fsck finds no problems with the partitions

  Thanks.
