I upgraded my test-installation to the actual state on Saturday 19.2. I rebooted, worked quite a few hours till yesterday and never had a problem with X. Therefore I conclude that the bug has been fixed somehow. As on Debian-Squeeze (where I work regularly) I don't have any problems with freezing neether
