I have the same problem here. fakeRAID is disabled, I only use software RAID.
Same setup works fine in edgy. Here it installs but when I book I get the same busybox as shown above. And my harddrive are endlessly working. (ps tell me mdadm is running with --assemble --scan --run and others parameters i can't see). I've tried with latest daily kubuntu alternate cd (4/11) It seems related to #96511 and #84679.
