Starting the Cisco VPN client with: /etc/init.d/vpnclient_init start will instantly crash the kernel. The Cisco VPN client source config.h file has the following entry: #define BUILDVER_STRING "4.8.02 (0030)" This source woks fine in Ubuntu 10.10 with all kernels.
