Hi, Well, it's difficult to explain but i'll try.... Everything seems to be fine when i'm in Ubuntu. Using the firefox browswer there aren't any problems at all from what i can see. When i go into the file system of Ubuntu, also here all is well. But as soon as i go into the filesystem of the hardisk there is background activity. This continues for bout an hour which slows down my whole system. Even when i come out of that location and close the window the background activity still continues. I've check by logging into my windoews xp side and all is fine and up to date. I really cannot locate what activity is going on once i go into my harddisk file system.
