Yes, this bug is reproducible. I am using empathy with yahoo and facebook. i prefer not to see offline contacts, so this option is turned on. Sometimes, I have to search between my offline contacts, so I use ctrl+H to make them visible. After I finish what I wanted to do, pressing ctrl+H again doesn't hide my offline contacts. Same thing happens if I try to hide them using the option in the menu bar. Empathy works well after I restart it.
