Bug should go on openldap2.3 as slapd in feisty is coming from
openldap2.3 source package.
I have tested the upgrade and I can not reproduce the issue. Did you
modified you nis.schema on your edgy before upgrading? Could you verify
the content of the /etc/ldap/schema directory to see if you have any
dpkg-dist or dpkg-old files?
