This worked under Lucid, but went away when I upgraded to version 10.10.
I tried to do the "apport-collect" but it will not let me because I am not the 
one who opened the bug.
If you want me to file a new bug I can.

I will try it with the Natty Alpha, but it will take a while to download.
Please don't close this issue.  A fix really should be made for Maverick.
