Public bug reported:

If Ubuntu 10.10 x32 or x64 is NFS booted from live CD image (via PXE
boot), then installed from booted up 'liveCD' , eth0 doesn't start
automatically.

In the above scenario, the following gets appended to
/etc/network/interfaces

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet manual

When the pc reboots after install, this then stops the network coming up
with network manager. Removing these two lines fixes the problem as then
network manager can sort it out.

I believe this is a little bug that is probably easily fixed. (I have
tried it on different hardware with same result)

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
