@bbwordwell I looked if this is acidently is installed, but in the pic they offer also flash alternatives, but you see only Flash-nonfree is installed.
I also checked the installer and this is the report. serge@Twilight:~/.mozilla$ sudo aptitude search gnash p browser-plugin-gnash - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - Plugin for Mozilla and derivatives p gnash - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player p gnash-common - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - Common files/libraries p gnash-common-opengl - dummy package for gnash-common-opengl removal p gnash-cygnal - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - Media server p gnash-dbg - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - Debug symbols p gnash-doc - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - API documentation p gnash-opengl - dummy package for gnash-opengl removal p gnash-tools - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - Command-line Tools p konqueror-plugin-gnash - GNU Shockwave Flash (SWF) player - Plugin for Konqueror v libgnash0 - p mozilla-plugin-gnash - dummy package for renaming to browser-plugin-gnash I have no gnash also kpackagekit won't find any Gnash active. I think I uninstall the repository Flash-nonfree tomorrow and download the plug in of Adobe with the installer of adobe. It seems not a "common" bug, which I thought it should be. I think interference of another module of plugin is the most likely case. If the Adobe plugin not work I should clean the complete Firefox profile. cheers -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/717260 Title: Flash is outdated - won't work on Youtube. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
