Can I also confirm that the same has happened to my Audigy 2 ZS card. It seems the device could be wrong as when I launch "alsamixer" in the terminal it shows "Realtek ALC850" channels not my "Audigy 2 ZS" channels.
* I should note from the "Sound Preferences" in the device drop down menu it displays three devices VIA 8235(which is my on board chip), Audigy 2 ZS (my sound card), and the Realtek ALC850. However I have not seen the Realtek before and my hardware doesn't contain it, and I think Ubuntu is trying to use something that doesn't exist. -- Sound disappearing with Intel HDA AD1986A on 2.6.20-14-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
